Privacy policy
Effective 12 October 2026
Earth3d does not ask for an account, does not track you and does not sell or share personal data.
Map tiles
To show the map, the app fetches 3D map tiles through our server, which forwards the requests to Google's Map Tiles API. Google receives those requests from our server (with our server's address, not yours) under Google's privacy policy.
Our server keeps, per installation, an anonymous App Attest key (created by your device to prove the app is genuine) and a count of today's requests. They are used only to stop abuse and to keep within daily limits, and are not linked to you. We also keep daily totals, such as the number of active installations, with no identifiers.
Place information
When you look at a place, the app asks Wikipedia, Wikimedia Commons and Panoramax for articles, photos and panoramas near that place. Those requests come from your device and are covered by those services' privacy policies.
Search and place names
Address search and place names use Apple's MapKit and geocoding services, under Apple's privacy policy.
World sensing
In Table and Floor modes, table and floor detection happens on your device. Nothing about your room leaves it.
On your device
The last places you visited and your settings are stored only on your device and are deleted with the app.
Children
Earth3d collects no personal data from anyone, including children.
